Workonomics are partnering with a developer tooling startup , whose SaaS platform enables engineering teams everywhere to harness the power of real - time data .

We're helping grow their London engineering team.

Their enterprise - grade product helps companies maximise the value of their data, unlock business value, and improve engineering team’s productivity.

They're looking to hire 1x Java Engineer ( Mid ) and 1x Java Engineer ( Senior ) to work on their Kafka proxy - a mission - critical component where all of the company's largest revenue deals come from.

You’ll enjoy and succeed in working in this role if you :

• have a passion for backend Java and API development
• hold solid experience with, and truly understand the ins and outs of Kafka
• are experienced in any Java async networking (they use Netty )
• come from a high performance / low latency systems engineering and tuning background
• wish to have a major impact building a product that makes developer’s lives easier
• relish the responsibility and freedom of owning projects end-to-end
• want your voice and opinions heard in engineering discussions

This will suit an engineer who values cross - team collaboration (you'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success), building things from scratch , and shipping quickly .
