The Role
As the IP Manager you will be responsible for KONUX’ patent application portfolio through all stages of the patenting process. You will be the bridge between our engineers and our attorneys in patent application and the granting procedures. KONUX engineers are creative, self-driven and are always looking to innovate and improve, and we are committed to providing them with the necessary resources to take their skills to the next level.

Your Responsibilities
- Create all relevant materials for patent applications - Â detailed descriptions, drawings, collating other publications
- Work with external attorneys to write and file patent applications
- Coordinate with internal resources to expedite patent filings and meet strict deadlines
- Track the status of multiple applications through the patenting process
- Create a company wide patent strategy together with the management team
- Establish and maintain a innovation management process
- Maintain an overview of the patent landscapes and latest developments
- Monitor national and international patent applications of competitors
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Systems/Software Engineering or a related area)
- Patent / Intellectual Property Apprenticeship or Patent Engineering Education
- Full working proficiency in English and German
- First experience in writing and filing patents
- Basic understanding of Software, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering concepts and terminology
- Basic understanding of industrial property rights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong reasoning and analytical skills
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
