    Description

    At Channable we work with a lot of external systems and specially with their API connections. These systems include eCommerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, Lightspeed and advertising platforms like Amazon, Bol.com and Google AdWords. We currently have a technical support team which guides customers through their daily activities, however some issues require more expertise and research. Our new Channable integration team will focus exactly on this area. As an Integration Specialist, you will learn the ins and outs of our API connections and communicate the information between development and support.

    Channable was founded three years ago and currently consists of a young team of more than 50 employees. Our product is one of Benelux’s largest online marketing tools. But what is Channable exactly?

    We provide an online marketing tool for online retailers and marketers to easily place products on comparison sites, marketplaces and affiliate networks, worldwide! The tool is very simple: product information is loaded through a data feed (file with all product information), plug-in or API, and is then easily optimized using rules so that the feed meets the customer’s requirements and the specifications of the desired export platform.

    Requirements

    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Communicative and enthusiastic characteristics
    • The possibility to translate technical details to easily understood explanations
    • Technical background (IT related education)
    • HBO or University thinking level
    • Experience with programming (Python is a plus)
    • Experience with APIs (not required but a plus)
    • Fulltime availability

    Tasks

    • To obtain better understanding of the Channable API connections
    • Research API issues for the support department
    • Provide accurate information to development department
    • Small programming tasks (scripts & API programming tasks)
    • Document the API connection (text / video)
    • Set up API training sessions for support
