Job Description

Purpose of role:

Reporting to the EMEA Chemical & Monitoring Solutions (CMS) Integrated Solutions Leader, the Integrated Solutions Engineer will define the best solution for the Company's combined projects and work with teams to support and manage projects through their lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

● Typical assignments range from the support of developing group standards and guidelines through process design of chemical applications related to process equipment, dosing, monitoring and digital solutions for combined projects;

● Direct preliminary designs from rough sketches, verbal or written descriptions;

● Direct process and instrumentation drawings, if applicable;

● Secure or prepare preliminary estimates. Submit designs, drawings, and estimates to the team for presentation to the customer for review and approval;

● Support the Sales team in ensuring timely and efficient completion of top projects.

● Design flow charts and relevant schedules to ensure completion dates of segments of
the projects.

● Inspect projects in progress and participate in start-ups of completed top projects to ensure that specifications and standards are maintained by contractors, suppliers, and trades workers;
● Recommend new design systems and materials to be purchased to best meet business objectives.

●Investigate outside contractors. Secure bids from qualified contractors;

● Support NPI, evaluate process control and instrumentation alternatives with respect to suitability, cost, maintainability, reliability, future expandability and adherence to Veolia standards;

● Train the sales team about UF, RO and EDI technologies;

● Coordinate with ES technical support as a key point of contact;

● Provide assistance or management, including start-up, as dictated by combined project demands, including the preparation of operating procedures or manuals;

● Develop and implement trainings to support the sales team on management ES tools (Progen, Winflow, Proflex Config…);

● Work as a bridge between CMS and ES in order to advise on the ES portfolio and provide answers aligned with our customers' needs;

● Support the validation and qualification calls as well as the sales process;

● Comply with integrity and safety as required by VWTS policies;

● Travel approximately 30% of the time to customer sites.

Qualifications

Qualifications required to do this role:

● Degree in a relevant scientific / engineering discipline.

Experience required to do this role:

● At least 5 years of experience in similar roles;

● Strong project design and project management experience;

● Experience within and knowledge of the Water Industry and applicable technologies;

● Experience of working cross-functionally and in a matrix environment;

● CAD user, Electrical & Control system background is preferred.

● Up to date technical skills in order to design & manage projects;
