Our client is seeking an IT System Administrator for their Frankfurt office! As a vibrant start-up in the renewable energy sector based in Europe, they are dedicated to advancing innovative technologies and customized solutions to drive the global transition towards sustainable energy.
In the role of IT System Administrator, you will manage and support the IT infrastructure across all European operations.
This position is crucial for maintaining the seamless operation of IT systems, including the implementation and upkeep of a cloud-based ERP system, managing IT equipment, and delivering staff training.
You will play a key role in enhancing multi-national communication and supporting the company's growth by optimizing technological capabilities.
Your Mission :
- Oversee the selection, procurement, installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and workstations across all locations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company’s IT infrastructure through effective security measures.
- Lead the deployment of a cloud-based ERP system, including its configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the ERP system operates optimally.
- Coordinate IT activities and foster effective communication and collaboration among IT staff and other departments across different locations.
- Deliver technical support to employees, addressing IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff on the ERP system and other IT tools.
- Monitor system performance, implement optimizations to enhance efficiency, and minimize downtime.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, manage timely upgrades and replacements, and ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
- Ensure compliance with local and international IT regulations and standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Your Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT system administration, ideally within a multinational company.
- Proven experience with cloud-based ERP systems.
- Strong expertise in networking, server management, and IT security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of training and supporting non-technical staff.
- Willingness to travel as needed across the company’s locations.
- Fluency in both English and German is essential.
