Head of Pre-sales Engineering

We're working with a fast growing Identity & Access Management (IAM) / Authentication startup to help them find a 'hands-on' pre-sales leader - someone to manage a small team but be very much still at the front of making things happen!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well funded company and a team of industry disruptors growing rapidly - they have a product that IS solving identity issues in Banking, Gaming and other areas across UK and Europe.

What we're looking for :

• 1 / 3 years experience managing / leading a small team in technical pre-sales, leading from the front and still enjoying / excelling in the 'hands-on' pre-sales day-to-day
• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Authentication, Biometrics solutions
• Ideally experience with server side Biometrics working with Banks - someone who isn’t an expert in just one thing but more of an 'identity' all rounder
• May have worked for the likes of Okta, Veridas, iProov, Delinea, Daom or even on the Accenture Security Identity team
• Ideal experience in some capacity working in a start-up environment - its all hands on deck, exciting, fast paced and a great culture to be part of...
• Strong communication skills - Fluent English.
• Someone based in UK, Italy, Germany ideal others considered for the right person

The role :

• Provide leadership to the current pre-sales team (currently 2) focusing on Europe - including UK, Germany, France, Italy and beyond
• Mentor the team but really lead from the front delivering RFI, RFQ, RFP and demos presenting from a good identity technical and sales (pre-sales, sales engineering) standpoint
• Collaborate with product, tech support, engineering and sales
