    We are looking for an experienced Head of Animation (f/m) to direct the Animation Department in building industry leading, robust and innovative solutions that are fit for purpose


    • Lead and manage several teams within your department
    • Solve problems and inefficiencies by troubleshooting, designing, and creating solutions alongside studio management and your teams
    • Responsible for the quality and approach taken by team members
    • Develop a strategy for the team to meet company goals and objectives.
    • Plan and monitor the successful implementation of the strategy
    • Improve the quality of service the company delivers internally and externally.
    • Plan and monitor the successful implementation of the strategy
    • Cooperate with connected departments on how to best utilize current solutions
    • Research and acquire knowledge to push the evolution of the VR experience and our tools
    • R&D new technology, processes, pipelines etc.
    • Create and maintain a professional culture within the team where individuals take ownership, responsibility, and pride themselves in delivering a high quality product
    • Represent the company and product within the industry
    • Create the foundation for the team to deliver realistic human behaviour
    • Set visual benchmarks/targets
    • Lead, Direct and Facilitate all aspects concerning animation (motion capture shoots, animation pipelines, workflows, and processes)
    • Review all animations and related features to ensure quality bar is met
    • Collaborate in the creation of the design for the Star experience


    • Strong knowledge of Maya, Motionbuilder, Unreal Engine 4
    • 10+ years of Game and Film experience in Animation
    • Experience in gameplay mechanics and systems
    • Experience with motion capture systems and all aspects of directing a shoot
    • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Excellent leadership skills and mentorship
    • Experience with VR/AR development a plus
    • Experience with FaceWare capture system or any other facial capture system a plus
