The following challenges await you :
- You create long-term value and profitable growth by building the strategic innovation roadmap for both products and processes.
- You lead the Research & Development team of around 40 people.
- You are responsible for managing innovation project budgets from project start to market launch.
In addition, the initiation and implementation of projects as a basis for future innovations in close coordination with other departments involved is also part of your area of responsibility.
- You develop carbon neutral production technology.
Furthermore, you are responsible for expansion and active relationship-management of an innovation network with research institutions, start-ups and individual experts.
- You explore the feasibility of new technologies or scientific progress for commercial application.
Your profile :
- Successfully completed master's degree in physics, chemistry or materials science.
- Many years of functional and leadership experience in R&D of an industrial environment preferably in the field of glass technology or material manufacturing
- Strong track record in developing strategic innovation roadmaps and project management skills
- Excellent technical understanding with the ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner
- People orientation and ability to work in a team
- Fluency in German & English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
