What does Channable do?
Channable is a young organization with a team of more than 50 employees. We have developed an online tool that helps web shop owners and marketers in their online marketing efforts. We have grown to be the number one feed management tool in the Netherlands.
But what do we do exactly? With our tool, we can get our customers to easily compare products on comparison websites, marketplaces, and affiliate networks, Worldwide! The tool is very simple to use: the products are loaded via a data feed (a file with all the products’ information), plug-in, or an API. After the products are in Channable, they are customizable using rules. This allows for the feed to comply with any of the specifications of a desired platform.
What will your job be?
You’ll be joining our current sales team for DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). You will help us identify potential clients in the market. You’ll also need to be able to effectively communicate the value and functionality of our tool. We’re looking for someone who is not afraid to approach potential clients, and who likes to help these new customers by telephone and e-mail with the launch of their account. Many of these potential customers are interested in our tool, so it’s not all cold acquisition. Furthermore, it is important that you like to network, to maintain relationships with customers, marketing agencies, and platforms, and that you’ll provide demonstrations of the tool.
We do not want you to worry about not knowing our tool! In your first few weeks, we will give you a crash course, and you will get to know the tool like the back of your hand.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree, for instance in the field of communication, business, sales (Kaufmännische Ausbildung e.g.) or German language and culture studies.
- You have some experience with sales, account management, contact with clients and/or online marketing.
- You are fluent in German and English (both verbal and written). Dutch is a plus, but not required.
- You are available for 4-5 days a week (preferably 5) and willing to travel for fairs and client visits.
