We are seeking several part-time Fundraising Consultants to join our team and be responsible for raising funds from institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices on behalf of the healthcare start-ups on our platform.
They will play a critical role in securing the necessary capital to support our start-up partners' growth and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully raising funds from institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices, with deep knowledge of the financial markets, investment landscape, and start-up ecosystem.
This is a part-time position that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Your role
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to raise capital from institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices on behalf of the different healthcare start-ups listed on our platform
- Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including conducting outreach, scheduling meetings, and making presentations
- Be able to properly market and sell investment opportunities in the healthcare industry that have already been endorsed by physicians
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investors, including researching their investment preferences, risk appetite, and financial capabilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investor interactions and activities in a CRM system
- Be prepared to update the VentureBlick Leadership Team on your activities and progress in a once-per-week meeting
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry news, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts
Who you are
- Extensive local network of institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices
- Holds all of the required licenses and certifications in order to carry out the responsibilities of this role within Spain
- Proven experience as a financial services professional with a successful track record of raising funds
- Deep understanding of local financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations within Spain
- Although not required, at least some understanding of the nuances of the healthcare industry would be a big plus
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex investment concepts and start-up value propositions to a wide range of audiences
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain trust with potential investors and start-up partners
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all business dealings
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
