What we are looking for

To further drive our growth, we are looking for a creative and committed full-stack software developer with a distinct sense for big data applications. You love to collaborate with other developers, solve new problems, and you take responsibility for delivering work of the highest caliber. You are also comfortable with a high degree of autonomy in your role, and you bring your owns ideas and perspectives to the table.

Your responsibilities

You play a leading role in our growing software development team, create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, and focus on the conceptual progression and further development of our technology stack.

You monitor performance and identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, improving infrastructure for greater security, scalability, etc.

You work closely together with stakeholders and product management.

Your expertise

You have a university degree in a relevant field and at least two years of work experience in software engineering.

You are interested in network security and scalability. You have knowledge of different approaches to authentication and authorization both for human users and programmatic API calls.

You are experienced with Python. You have preferably worked with the Django framework and are able to build and configure websites with it. You have preferably also worked with data-oriented packages like NumPy and pandas.

You have experience in backend web development, configuring database connections, file storage systems, and web servers.

You are familiar with Javascript. You are familiar with the administration of Unix-based systems, process automation, and scripting. Ideally you have worked with messaging systems such as Celery and RabbitMQ.

You are preferably familiar with MongoDB databases and can work with them through Python. Ideally you are also familiar with Elasticsearch.
