Full-Stack Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a creative full-stack engineer (m/f), proficient in Python & Ruby and comfortable working with multiple third-party API’s simultaneously. You will be contributing to the development of a brand-new product where you will play a key role. As part of your role, you will be expected to:

• Design and development of visualization tools
• Work as part of a self-organized data engineering team to deliver tools and technology as needed
• Develop automation and testing tools

Required Skills and Experience

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and other HTML 5 technologies
• Previous use of presentation techniques and technologies such as D3js
• Extensive use of scripting languages such as Python & Ruby to automate processes
• Experience of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL on multiple projects
• Experience of working with interconnected RESTful APIs and other HTTP services
• Examples of using and designing data formats such as JSON or equivalent
• DevOps experience

Beneficial Experience

• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Experience of using Chef and Troposphere for configuration and system management
• Previous experience working with data scientists
• Past experience of transforming and processing big or real-time data sets
• Experience of working within an Enterprise environment
• Development experience using TDD or BDD
