Frontend/Angular developer

We are looking for a strong (Midlevel to Senior) Javascript Developer with to join our team based in Berlin. You will be working on extending and maintaining frontend code and serverless backend.

Job Description

• Proven knowledge in Javascript related to design, analysis, development and maintenance
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Fundamental knowledge about design principles behind a scalable application
• Good understanding of security and data protection concepts
• Well rounded knowledge of application architecture
• Ability to form and communicate architecture decisions
• Focus on code quality and deliver projects with high business impact

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written English communication skills (German is a plus but no must)
• Experience in serverless architecture (firebase, serverless, aws lambda, ...)
• Experience in Redux or similar state management framework
• Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience on frontend development in a startup or similar work environment
• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks like React, AngularJS, Vue etc
• The ability to rapidly learn and explain technical concepts
• A passion for making beautiful, smooth, delightful web experiences
• Ability to use Git and experience with Jira project management software or similar
• An eagerness to learn and teach new disciplines, methodologies, stay up to date with the community and develop best practices

Good to have

• Experience with web security/pen testing
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean
• Working experience with Agile Methodology and well versed with tools like Jira
• Experience with API integrations like (JWT, Social Media Services)
