Cakewalk is a design-first Identity & Access Management software for SMBs. Our vision is to make IT security & compliance easy and accessible for everyone.

We are currently hiring a Founding Sales Development Representative (m/f/d) to join our highly ambitious team and further accelerate our GTM traction. We are looking for people who combine ambition, strong grit, and self-reflection.

Cakewalk is backed by leading investors, including Seedcamp, Fly, and super angels from across Europe.


This role is unlike most other Sales Development roles - you will be joining an early stage startup with an evolving GTM motion. You will be the second hire on the GTM team, after the CRO, and will build immediate pipeline by outbounding and help build the playbook with a leadership team that has decades of experience at companies like Klarna and Pleo.

Please note that this position will require 3 days a week in our central London office. While we appreciate the flexibility that remote work brings, we believe in-person work will accelerate learnings and enable us to crystallise our culture and build an iconic company faster.


  • Outbounding
  • Prospecting to find new accounts and contacts who will benefit from Cakewalk.
  • Research prospects to craft tailored messaging and communicate relevant/specific value.
  • Execute outbound calls, emails, and social touches to generate interest by leveraging frameworks, creative videos, new technologies, and experiments.
  • Schedule introductory meetings with qualified prospects to build pipeline.
  • Collaborate with CRO and CEO to drive new sales opportunities forward and provide strategic insight and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
  • Represent our company and help push our culture internally and externally.
  • Be a team player, collaborating with the Leadership Team, product and engineering to build scalable processes and products loved by our customers.

  • Is a highly persuasive communicator in writing and over the phone. you can articulate complex ideas in a simplified way and provide clear and easy to understand guidance to our clients.
