Your role:

  • As a member of the flight physics team at Ascendance you will have a key role in implementing performance models and consolidating processes and tools for aerodynamics.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Consolidate aircraft performance models
  • Provide performance analysis to identify best operating points in vertical / transition / airplane modes
  • Consolidate aerodynamics (CFD) processes to ensure repeatability and adequate quality

Where do we stand?

You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed.

You will be working in an interdisciplinary team to find global compromise while being given a high level view of the aircraft and propulsion system's requirements.

Required profile

The job has been made for you if you:

  • You are in an aerospace engineering school or have classes on aerodynamics / aircraft design
  • You have experience with preliminary aircraft design projects
  • You are used to MATLAB / Simulink, Python and performed CFD analysis
  • You are a team player and a creative person
  • You are proactive, enthusiastic and self-driven
  • You are comfortable to work in start-up quick changing constraints environment
  • You speak English
