Menlo Media, the media/events company which operates EU-Startups.com and FutureTravel.com, is currently looking to hire a Head of European Projects.
While our main focus is on EU-Startups.com (about 400k monthly readers) and on our annual EU-Startups Summit, we're also occasionally involved in EU funded projects and tenders as dissemination partner, startup events organisers and startup ecosystem insiders. In order to represent EU-Startups (Menlo Media) in such projects and in order to grow this area inside Menlo Media, we're now planning to hire a Head of European Projects.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a person who speaks perfectly English (best case native speaker), who has a basic unerstanding of startup ecosystem and who has already had some experience with EU-funded projects, proposal writing, public funding opportunities and/or public tenders.
As our new Head of European Projects, you will be involved in the search for EU tenders and EU projects that could be a fit for EU-Startups (Menlo Media) to get invoved in, you lead the creation of project consortia, lead our proposal writing efforts and ensure a successful execution of the projects we are involved in.
As part of this role (full-time, 40h per week) you will be with us in the office on 4 days, and 1 day you can work remote (if you like). That being said, you should be based in Barcelona!
