Reporting directly to the Chief of Sales, the Business Development Manager will work as a part of Vulog's Global Business Development team and Vulog's Paris-based Marketing function to manage and advance Vulog's Business Development activities in the EMEA region.

Whilst international travel will be limited during the health crisis, traditionally this role will involve around 25% travel.

What You'll Do:

  • Grow Vulog's Footprint: Implement Vulog's commercial strategy in EMEA by identifying, qualifying and pursuing new mobility projects, keeping up-to-date reports on sales activities,
  • Client Management: Deliver regular updates to Vulog's existing clients, whilst proposing and implementing strategies to enhance client relationships,
  • Client Growth: Strategize with clients on product-market fit, and ensure they're getting the most out of Vulog's newest SaaS releases,
  • Strategic Positioning: Keep up-to-date with market trends in order to identify new growth sectors for Vulog,
  • Marketing Guidance: Liaise with Vulog's Marketing Department to propose, define and implement marketing and communication strategies, generating client leads through marketing campaigns and networking,
  • Event Leadership: Participate in large-scale digital and international conferences and represent Vulog at press gatherings and local events.

Who You Are:

  • Higher education degree from a business or engineering school,
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a Business Development role, ideally acquired within a tech, automotive, SaaS software, or mobility environment.

Alternatively, we would also be interested to hear from candidates with Account Management backgrounds in professional services.

  • Genuine interest in new mobility / technology / smart cities,
  • Native English speaker or total fluency in the English language (German or Spanish as a second language would be a plus but is not compulsory),
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic,
  • Well organized and methodological,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Ability to evolve in a start-up environment: you're a problem solver and can work autonomously with a sense of initiative,
  • Flexibility to travel (while international travel will be limited during the health crisis, traditionally this role will involve around 25% travel).
