Your Role
As an electronics engineer, you contribute your knowledge to the development of electronic modules for our current and future service robots.
You are part of an international engineering team from different disciplines on the forefront of service robotics.
Your Job:
- Design of electronic modules for our service robots from circuit design to PCB layout
- System integration of designed modules and third-party components
- Building of test setups and prototypes to evaluate new designs
- Dealing with PCB assembly vendors
- Defining procedures and setups to electrically test modules and complete robots
Your Qualifications Required :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields
- Electronic circuit design (e.g. microcontrollers, mixed-signal applications, power converters)
- PCB layout
- Use of electronic measurement equipment and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Simulation of electronic circuits with SPICE tools (e.g. LT Spice)
- Experience with communication busses and protocols (CAN, I²C, SPI, Ethernet)
- Knowledge of basic control system concepts (PID controllers, etc.
Nice-to-have :
- Practical experience developing motion control systems (motor drive hardware design, field-oriented control of BLDC / PMSM motors)
- Experience with EMC compliance testing
- Programming in C++ and Python
- Experience designing wiring harnesses
- Experience with industrial safety controllers (e.g. SICK Flexi Soft)
- Understanding of functional safety standards for electronic control systems (ISO EN 13849, IEC EN 61508)
