Electronics Engineer – Oxfordshire £40,000-£55,000, hybrid working, plus other benefits. We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join a growing start-up spun out of the University of Oxford. Working as part of a small and dynamic team where you’ll be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of battery systems. If you are keen to develop new technologies and work in a dynamic field, this may be the role for you.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
- Design and implementation of testing of power electronics and battery systems.
- Debugging and solving hardware problems.
- Create and maintain technical specifications and operational documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with designing and test Knowledge of power supplies, electronic loads, and oscilloscopes
- Hands-on practical skills including hand soldering and assembly)
- Experience with PCB CAD tools
- Familiarity with simulation packages such as LTSpice, Simulink Review and select components for design improvement
