DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) Big Data
What Do we want to accomplish:
- reach a “NoOps-state”: no work outside business hours
- developers have transparent and fast CI/CD for production and environments
Our Setup:
- we have big data.
- everything is cloud - mainly AWS cloud environment
- Minimum working unit
- Docker containers
- AWS Lambda functions
- AWS fargate
- MongoDBs, ElasticSearch, MySQL databases, S3 object store
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain and guarantee the availability and performance of our infrastructure
- Architect and improve our infrastructure to make it robust and scalable
- Implement and maintain all sorts of checks and logging
- Make sure the CI/CD pipelines work smoothly, fast, and flexible
- Find cost efficient solutions
- Work closely with our developers to deploy new services
Your Skills:
- You know how to setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- You know how to setup and maintain clusters (Kubernetes, ECS or other)
- You know how to setup monitoring and alerting
- You have fun improving and maintaining such a system
- You are used to work in a small team
