Rasa builds open source ML tools to enable developers to make conversational software that really works. By conversational software we mean voice control systems, VR, AR, IoT, virtual assistants, and yes, bots. Regexes and if/else statements only get you so far, and we’re building the tools for going beyond that using deep learning. Rasa is used by thousands of developers worldwide. Our customers include leading enterprises such as UBS, ERGO and Helvetia. We're based in Berlin, funded by Techstars and Salisbury Ventures.

We’re looking for an experienced and hungry Developer Relations Lead to join us at Rasa. The point of this post is to provide enough information about us and what we're looking for to let you decide whether to apply.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
Developers are at the core of what we do at Rasa - both for our open source and our enterprise products. This role owns the full funnel from developers first hearing about Rasa to contributing to our open source products and has one simple goal: constantly simplifying the experience with our products so that developers can get started faster, build better conversational software or contribute to our open source.
We want to build on the rapid organic growth of our open source community and increase the number of developers we support by orders of magnitude. You will iterate and execute on your developer experience strategy, working closely with the founders and the engineering team.
ABOUT YOU
You're obsessed with simplifying processes, like to measure the improvements and show results. You love working closely with developers and showing them the potential of a world-changing technology. You enjoy teaching and learning from others. You can code. You're an engaging public speaker, and hands-on when it comes to hacking. You can communicate the results of your work and convince the team to invest in long-term projects. You can also understand the deep long-term impact of conversational AI and demonstrate use cases for enterprises.
THINGS YOU MIGHT DO
Rasa is a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever needs doing. However, you can definitely expect to:
- Be in charge of everything related to developer experience: marketing, education and community (that doesn't mean you'll do it all! you'll be expected to delegate)
- Experiment with different channels and approaches, measuring KPIs and deciding where to allocate resources
- Travel to conferences and hackathons
- Work closely with our ML engineering team
