As a pivotal leader of our expanding sales force in Germany, you'll craft, refine, and execute the Sales and Business Operations strategy while inspiring and empowering the sales teams to surpass revenue objectives.

- You’ll be in charge of expanding the teams locally in German focusing and leading our Local Sales Teams in charge of developing partnerships all over Germany with food & drink services, leisure activities, beauty and wellness services as well as automotive services.
As Country Manager, you'll lead Groupon's growth in Germany, managing our Local Divisional Sales Managers and collaborating with multiple teams including marketing.

Responsibilities :
- Lead, Develop and motivate Sales People Managers and their teams to achieve optimal results.
- Develop a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and surpass business targets
- Drive the sales process development and improvement
- Equip the sales teams with the information, tools and learning to drive teams effectiveness
- Work cross functional to deliver project goals and endure identified projects are delivered in time
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify and implement sales strategies and products across markets.
- Conduct in-depth reporting and analysis
- Design and operationalize new revenue streams
- Set up sales targets and bonus structures
- Identify trends driving partnership opportunities and maintain a robust deal pipeline.
- Represent Groupon in meetings with executive-level counterparts.
- Provide regular performance updates to partners and internal stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Business degree or equivalent required
- Fluency in German and English
- Must 8+ years experience in Sales / Business Development : proven track record in sales and business operations
- as well as an existing and strong business network
- 8+ years experience in managing managers preferably in tech or startup organization
- Experience in working for complex matrix international company while driving and expanding the PnL or your dedicated area
- Ability and efficiency in using a CRM like Salesforce
- A highly analytical, strong strategic thinker with knowledge of online business models
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships inside and outside of Groupon in order to cultivate a robust pipeline of deal opportunities.
Well-organized, entrepreneurial and able to prioritize among multiple projects with limited supervision. Groupon’s purpose is to build strong communities through thriving small businesses.
