An incredible opportunity for a corporate lawyer to join a US law firm in the city of London.
My client is an AM Law 100 US firm with multiple offices, globally, who pride themselves on their progressive, modern culture.
Their clients range from public and private companies to start-ups and emerging businesses.
Due to a substantial growth period in London, they are seeking a corporate lawyer with solid Mergers & Acquisitions experience, preferably alongside some equity capital markets experience.
The corporate team undertake a wide range of mid-market M&A and ECM transactions, often of a cross-border nature so whilst a mix of ECM and M&A experience would be ideal, any gaps in your knowledge will be identified and addressed upon joining the firm.
You will work directly with partners within a small team so you will get lots of exposure from day-one.
Although this is a US firm, the culture is more aligned to a UK city firm than that of a New York firm, which seems to be the preference amongst many lawyers in todays market.
A technically strong candidate would settle in to this firm well; someone who enjoys client interaction and who's prepared to take responsibility on deals from the outset.
The ideal candidate will fit the following criteria :
- Excellent academic record
- Training at a top-tier firm
- 3+ years’ PQE (E&W Qualified)
- M&A and ECM transactions experience
