Commercial Manager / Co-Founder We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to join our recently launched homeware and interior brand, Casa by Josephine Jenno. We want our curated, eclectic range to inspire our customers to inject personality and interest into their home You’ll work directly with the founder to help us scale in our early years. It requires someone who is highly organised, proactive and strategic in order to ensure projects and teams are set up for success.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Guide the team by setting priorities and developing strategies to identify low-margin and low-growth products.
- Carry out detailed analyses of projects and report on the issues and findings from both a commercial and financial perspective.
- Own the relationship with our 3PL
- Optimise operational processes and implement improvement initiatives.
- Build out financial forecasts and work alongside the junior buyer to ensure stock is bought to optimise holding and cash flow.
- Partner closely with the team to ensure we’re minimising our carbon footprint.
- Working with our digital agency to feedback insights and learnings Assist with recruiting when necessary.
- Help ensure the company remains legally compliant
Experience We Are Looking For
8 years experience in management, preferably in a DTC business (or similar, relevant experience). Commercially astute – those who can always find a way to make it work! Strong communication and teamwork skills Analytical with a logical thought process, data-driven decisions Nice to have: Experience in funding Experience in start-ups
