The role involves:
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and others.
- Implement rigorous cloud security practices for data protection and industry compliance.
- Collaborate with software teams to optimize applications for cloud deployment.
- Continuously monitor cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents promptly.
- Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Automate routine tasks using cloud orchestration and automation tools.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud trends and technologies, offering improvement recommendations.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on cloud-related matters.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Ensure software development follows best practices, including testing and release procedures.
- Enhance model tracking, versioning, monitoring, and management.
- Act as a system administrator to ensure the stability and reliability of the ML platform.
- Identify infrastructure needs and translate them into actionable plans.
