I am currently recruiting for a start-up Lloyd's MGA who are seeking a Chief Underwriting Officer to help develop the underwriting book for the business.

My client is looking for someone with 25+ years underwriting experience within Property, Energy, Construction and Cargo on a worldwide basis, minus the US region.

This role will be a mixture of Lloyd's / Company Market and it is preferred if the successful candidate already has a developed portfolio of business / clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively underwrite business within Property, Energy, Construction & Cargo classes on a worldwide basis.
• Have strong technical knowledge within Underwriting and the relevant classes of business.
• Help with the start-up of the MGA.
• Comply by Lloyd's standards and regulations.
