The tech team is an international team that works closely together. Our goal is always to further develop and improve our external and internal service.
In addition to software programming, we deal with web technologies, databases, data mining and analyses and evaluate and implement tools.
With a lively exchange within the team, we are quality-oriented and believe in agile software development. We gain new knowledge through project insights and at conferences.

Chief Technology Officer (m / f / d) at our Berlin office
Your tasks:
- Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the companies business goals and objectives
- Provide technical guidance and support to other departments and teams, and ensure that they have the tools and resources they need to be successful
- Manage the companies technology budget and ensure that the companies technology infrastructure is effective, efficient, and secure
- Lead, mentor and develop our tech 18 people department incl. 3 engineering teams, IT administration team and data engineering / BI team
- Implement appropriate development and project management methodologies
- Demonstrate ability to recruit, challenge, coach and reward high talents in tech
- Work together as the part of the group’s management team on strategic topics and product related topics
Your profile:
- Reliable Development Background (Backend and Frontend)
- Proficiency in Java, React, Spring, PostgreSQL and Non-relational databases
- Javascript and React knowledge is a plus
- Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns
- Experience with cloud computing and AWS solutions
- Strong communication, leadership and partnering skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science
- Experience in using agile methods
- Understanding the StartUp Challenges
- Multiple years of building and managing international technical teams
- Multiple years of project / product management experience
- Experience in managing stakeholder
- Hands-on attitude
- You are business fluent in English and advanced knowledge in German
