We are looking for a full-time Chief Executive Officer who is able to manage the company in its early life cycle stages. She or he is able and committed to do the groundwork for future growth together with our already placed CTO, who is currently executing both roles with support of a temporary team. Ideally, she or he has a business administration background, passion for data, and/or first job experience.
The business works with large data sets from various sources (mainly social media networks and online shops) and derives valuable insights and solutions from it for its customers. Thereby, it helps firms and brands on the one side to understand in-depth what their customers talk about, how they feel and what influences them. On the other side, it helps shop owners to improve customer journey and conversion by bringing shopping behavior analysis to shops of all sizes.
Proprietary products have been developed and tested (including proof of concept of a highly innovative algorithm for network analysis) while being funded by the EXIST startup grant of the European Union throughout 2018. First satisfied and impressed clients have been acquired already. Currently, the CTO is supported by two PhD students, 4 interns, and two consulting stakeholders.
Parts of the CEO tasks are supporting the CTO in further developing and realizing the product roadmaps based on customer feedback, as well as leading the sales expansion efforts for quick scaling of the products. Hiring and leading the first employees will certainly be a large part of the job, as well as identifying and building relationships with new and existing customers.
As the team is in the preparation process for a funding round, the CEO's tasks will also include the lead role in investor relations (depending on time of entry). This will also allow her or him to shape the future of the business right from the start and influence the overall strategic direction.
