Seeking an innovative engineer to play a vital role in scaling up an innovative hydrogen technology from lab to pilot scale working closely with the founding team.

This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the early growth of our start-up and contribute directly to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Responsibilities :

• Lead technical development alongside a dedicated founding team, focusing on the leap from lab-scale prototypes to commercial demonstration.
• Apply your broad chemical engineering background to tackle a variety of tasks, from strategic planning and process engineering to hands-on problem-solving.
• Oversee project implementation, including coordination with external contractors.
• Conduct safety assessments such as HAZOP, HAZID, DSEAR
• Travel occasionally to sites across the UK for wider collaboration.

Experience :

• Masters or equivalent in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Industry experience, ideally with hands-on work in batch reactors and generating PFDs / P&IDs.
• Familiarity with pilot projects, especially for novel technologies; experience in safety assessments.
• Start up experience is a great benefit!!
