The Cash Manager will play a crucial role in safeguarding Elements Green’s financial assets and ensuring efficient cash flow management.
This position is responsible for overseeing all payment operations, maintaining strong banking relationships, and implementing treasury strategies aligned with the company’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimise the company’s payment processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Implement and maintain efficient payment systems and procedures to minimise costs and risks
- Reconcile payment transactions and maintain detailed records
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners
- Negotiate optimal banking terms and conditions, including fees, interest rates, and credit facilities
- Monitor bank performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Manage bank accounts, including opening, closing, and reconciliation
- Forecast cash flow requirements and manage cash balances effectively
- Optimize cash investments to maximise returns while maintaining liquidity
- Identify and assess treasury-related risks, including liquidity, credit, and foreign exchange
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Prepare and analyse treasury reports, including cash flow statements and bank reconciliations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in treasury management or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of treasury principles, including cash management, payments, and risk management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience in the renewable energy or sustainability sector is an added advantage.
- Certifications in treasury management or risk management are an added advantage.
