Job Brief:
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Business Development Executive to work with our global sales organization on curating and closing on new sales opportunities in the EMEA market. This position will be focused on creating new opportunities for revenue by prospecting, sourcing, pitching and closing new deals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in prospect to close business development and have a proven track record of being a top sales performer. Any previous digital marketing or digital advertising would be considered a huge plus.

What You Will do:

  • Prospect software vendors and related industry institutions and consult with them to develop relationships and continuously grow your pipeline.
  • Hunt your Prospects and close deals.
  • Prospect software vendors and related industry institutions and consult with them to develop relationships and continuously grow your pipeline.
  • Onboard new clients. Get new clients started out on the right foot to ensure long term success.
  • Provide expert knowledge to B2B software vendors. The more you understand their business, the more you'll be equipped to challenge and teach them and optimize their return on investment.
  • Create value-based relationships with new clients. They'll buy from you because you're an asset, not necessarily because they like you!
  • Work closely with the global sales team on best practices and sales methodology implementation.

What You Will Need:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development.
  • Fluent level of English
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Advertising is a plus.
  • Persistence. You don't know the meaning of the word quit.
  • Unshakable optimism and energy. You are lively and bold, with the kind of personality that comes through easily over the phone.
  • Black belt phone skills. You're able to succeed in just about any situation we would encounter on the phone.
  • A company-first mentality. You understand what is good for the company and always do the right thing, even when no one on your team is watching.
