The company is quickly revolutionising the insurance industry by incorporating innovative technologies, machine learning and augmented reality into the insurance picture to create a more streamlined, hassle-free solution for the consumer. As a Backend JavaScript Developer, you will use Node to build a new insurance platform in addition to working on exciting new features using the latest technologies. The role:You will play a critical role in assisting in the migration of their existing LAMP stack into a microservices framework.Productising their existing platform in addition to designing and developing additional features.Identifying and implementing improvement areas in regards to performance, scalability and reliability.Take over the development of the platform by focusing on enhancements and performance optimisation as well as helping to finalise their MVP.Work autonomously to deliver project results and agile project managementBe able to utilise your experience in JavaScript and Node in order to make backend development improvements.
