Accounting Operations Lead
Join a fast-growing Tech business in NRW as Accounting Lead. The company is implementing a new Cloud Financial System and is looking for someone with knowledge of German and International Accounting regulations to join the team.
You will be involved in the end-to-end implementation of the new ERP solution, working together with the external ERP System Integration partner, and will set up solid core Finance and Accounting processes, to support the ongoing expansion of the business.
Long-term, you will focus on the ongoing delivery, optimization and improvement of finance and accounting processes in line with the company's growth.
Your role :
- Set up, Maintain and Improve Finance and Accounting processes in line with German and international finance regulations (HGB, IFRS, German GAAP)
- Together with key stakeholders, you will embed the core Finance and Controlling processes, set up scalable solutions in preparation for continued business growth
- Support and lead the implementation of a new Cloud ERP system from a finance and accounting perspective : you will work with the SI Partner company to deliver solid core finance processes according to business requirements
- Collaborate with Key Finance Stakeholders to support the growth of the business across geographies, by maintaining and improving finance processes and deliver a pipeline of improvement projects
Your experience :
- Finance or Accounting Manager with experience working in a fast-paced and hands-on startup environment
- Knowledge of key finance processes and accounting regulations e.g. HGB, IFRS, German / UK / US GAAP
- Financial Systems implementation experience, Oracle Netsuite, MS Dynamics, Workday, Sage or similar eg : Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Oracle Cloud ERP, Infor M3, Unit4 etc
- Finance process improvement and transformation experience
- Strong communication skills in German and English
Location : NRW, Germany - Hybrid work (Homeoffice possible in Germany)
Type : Permanent Contract
