We are looking to build on this success by growing our team across all seniority levels from software engineers, web developers, marketing and sales experts, and entrepreneurial business analysts.
That's where you come in.
As our Accounting Assistant you are the backbone of our organization and help us grow.
- You will be responsible for our financial accounting and our payroll processes.
- Your daily tasks include the preparation of our monthly financial accounting in alignment with our external Accountant.
- You prepare the payroll process and are responsible for our contract management using Personio.
- Your role also includes the establishment of new processes and standards for our organization to allow smooth processes for all our employees.
This role requires hands-on work from an individual that is very well organized and likes to establish structure and consistency.
You will work closely with our Chief of Staff and HR team to ensure that all our internal processes are well aligned.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare the monthly financial accounting for the company
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of our financial data
- Liaise with our external Accountants
- Prepare and manage the payroll process for our internal and external employees
- Process reimbursement forms
- Be responsible for our employee contracts in Germany and foreign locations
- Enhance our financial accounting and payroll process and establish new standards
IDEAL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- You are well organized and like to bring structure and consistency in your activities
- You have a basic understanding of financial accounting and are eager to learn in this area
- You worked with Personio or other HRM tools before
- You feel comfortable with new tasks and see them as a learning opportunity
- You have an excellent feel for language (German and English)
