Our multidisciplinary project aims to develop a chemical treatment against hemophilia by pharmacomodulation of a specific lead compound which was recently patented by the partners of the project composed of hematologists, chemists, clinicians and biophysicists.
Preclinical studies are scheduled.
We are looking for a highly motivated post-doc candidate, willing to contribute to bring this innovative treatment ahead. His/her work, within the research program will be to:
- rationally design and synthesize analogs of the lead compound with increased biological activities restoration of the coagulation in hemophilia plasma). The biological activities will be evaluated by our partners in Grenoble Hospital.
- compile and analyze all activity data for the chemical compounds
- perform fluorescence experiments and/or surface plasmon resonance for the best compounds (1 or 2) under the supervision of local researchers.
This project is financed by a maturation grant from the SATT Linksium and will hopefully lead to the creation of a startup once successful results are acquired. The post-doctorate will benefit from the entire "PhD Friendly" environment and Linksium trainings throughout the project.
