The SCDA Facility Allocator is an prescriptive analytics tool that fosters artificial intelligence and allows supply chain managers, service facilitiy planners, distribution chains, supermarkets, franchise business, and others to plan and optimize profit maximizing allocation of thei stores, warehouses, and service facilities.

Using a computerized optimization model and mathematical problem solvers the SCDA Facility Allocator:
1) captures spatial distribution of market demand
2) considers all potential facility allocations
3) considers CAPEX for each candidate facility
4) considers operative expenses for each candidate facility

Based on this, the SCDA Facility Allocator visualizes spatial distribution of customer demand, decides on the optimal amount of facilities, and selects the most promising service facility locations.

The tool has been applied to e.g. Barber Shop Franchises. In a more recent use case application the SCDA Facility Allocator helped a Barber Shop Franchise operation to decide on service facility investments in several major cities in Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro.
