Each year, human errors may put an end to a project, demoralize personnel, or increase project implementation costs. For example, according to Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE), each day, 12 to 13 U.S. workers die as a result of a traumatic injury on the job.
People are not sensors, operators, or machines. Working conditions, mental conditions, and human relations affect their performance. The difficulty of working in inappropriate weather conditions, unsafe situations, fatigue, or lack of knowledge are among the human factors that increase the possibility of accidents. Most important incidents include falls from a height, being struck by a moving vehicle and being struck by a moving, including flying or falling object. However, the unsafe conditions in a project are very extensive. Therefore, permanent monitoring and prevention of incidents are almost impossible.
