Proximie is a secure software solution which expands virtual surgical collaboration enabling surgeons to share expertise using augmented reality tools before, during and after surgery. Bringing together experts remotely, it pushes the boundaries of time and distance for real and impactful scaling of surgical knowledge.
We are a passionate team committed to scaling expertise in healthcare using the best available technology in the most accessible, cost effective and engaging way. In 2016, our founder, Nadine (an NHS surgeon) saw firsthand, during her NHS surgical practice and her ongoing charity work, how the patient demand for healthcare is outstripping the number of doctors available to deliver care, resulting in some patients experiencing difficulties in accessing the treatment they need.
