Nxtbase technologies GmbH has focused serving a global industrial segment with solutions for efficient field service, logistics and manufacturing. Founded in 2013 as a high-tech start-up, nxtbase is now Potsdam based and combines many years of IT and SCM experience. Nxtbase solution relies heavily on our deep competence in augmented and mixed reality, digital imaging and human-computer interaction. Nxtbase used this expertise to turn smart glasses into practical solutions. Nxtbase technologies provides some of Europes leading companies, such as MAN, SBB cargo international, Airbus / Premium Aerotec or HPA ( Hamburg Port Authority) with logistic and maintenance support via different Smart Devices like realwear HMT-1 or Vuzix M300 Smart Glasses. The Vuzix M300 is be connected to the Nxtbase Secure Mobile Device and Application Management platform and helps to deliver hands-free, voice activated digital support for Industry 4.O and IoT applications.
The goal is to create a user-friendly but efficient solution that can be used or expanded for all industries. It should be no matter which terminal equipment is used. After all, the customer should not be restricted by us, but rather enjoy all the possibilities of Industry 4.0.
Nxtbase relies on a platform build by our framework hosted on premise or in the Nxtbase cloud servers, wherefrom all devices can be administered and managed.
On the client side, our Univice application is working. It connects all Android-based devices to our platform regardless of using smartphones, tablet computers or SmartGlasses. The range of functions can be individually adapted to the industry and wishes of the customer and can be extended at any time by our software solutions. This gives the customer a wide range of add-ons, which he can use to equip the respective devices. All devices can be configured individually or grouped.
