Founded by female entrepreneur Affi Parvizi-Wayne, the startup wants its product to be available to every woman out there. For this reason, Freda donates period products to organizations willing to distribute them to women in poor communities, and the startup has already gained a lot of positive attention, having been featured in Vogue, the Huffington Post and the Guardian.
