EntwicklerHeld, founded in Dresden in 2018, supports companies in IT recruiting through gamification and employer branding. A programmatic coding platform makes developers and local companies aware of each other.

Developers can expand their skills by means of coding challenges and present them to the community. For each challenge solved, participants receive virtual credit and experience points. Companies can find developers on EntwicklerHeld who can contact them via the platform, for example to submit job offers. The developers remain completely anonymous - the companies only see the coding challenge solution and the developer's region.

After the incubation program "DeltaHochDrei" by dresden.exisits and a pre-seed investment by Edition VC at the beginning of 2019, the IT start-up was able to expand its user base to over 8,000 users (status 19/09).
