Comphya

Comphya is developing an active implantable medical device to restore the erectile function of patient non-responsive to oral drugs. Its patented technology is based on neuroprosthetics expertise, and consist of implanting a neuro-stimulator in the pelvic cavity, which will selectively activate the nerve to trigger penile erection. The device, CaverSTIM, is composed of: I) the implantable pulse generator (IPG) connected to II) an electrode paddle, III) external controllers (physician and patient control units), and IV) wireless recharger.
