Social Tides launches second GROW AI Accelerator to support social impact across Europe (Sponsored)

Social Tides, a platform empowering social entrepreneurs and impact-driven ventures, has announced the launch of the second cohort of the GROW AI Accelerator. This six-month equity-free program is designed to help impact organisations and social enterprises harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to create meaningful social change.

Supported by Google.org and powered by INCO in collaboration with Share it, the accelerator will select ten organisations to receive specialised training, expert mentoring, and access to grants of up to $250K. The program is tailored to scale innovative solutions while advancing social impact initiatives and is open to impact organisations based in EU countries, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom.

What is in it for you?

Selected organisations will gain access to:

  • Training: Participants will gain expertise in AI, ML, business development, marketing, and impact strategy through a blend of workshops, guest lectures, mentoring, and peer learning sessions.
  • Mentoring: Organisations will benefit from personalised guidance from industry leaders.
  • Networking: Engage with like-minded AI impact entrepreneurs across Europe, expanding your network and visibility within the AI community.
  • Funding: Access to financial support of up to $250K to help scale your impact-driven AI solution.

The program kicks off in March 2025 and will be delivered online by expert trainers and industry professionals from the INCO and Share it networks.

Eligibility Criteria:

Social Tides invites applications from impact organisations and social enterprises that meet the following requirements:

  • Registered entity based in an EU country, Ukraine or the United Kingdom (nonprofits are not eligible)
  • Developing AI/ML solutions with a strong impact mission, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Targeting substantial markets with sustainable products or services, demonstrating traction and a strong growth strategy.
  • Committed to responsible AI practices and generating positive social effects.

Additional requirements include a working prototype and active commitment from team members, including CEOs and CTOs, to participate in program sessions. Access to grant funding is conditional upon attending 80% of the program activities
