Nicosia-based Anymaster secures €350k to enter Greece’s service marketplace

Anymaster, a Cypriot service marketplace connecting clients with trusted local professionals, has announced its launch in Athens following a successful €350k funding round. Backed by prominent investors, including Lamda Development and Oxean, the startup is set to enter Greece’s service industry with its platform.

Founded to address inefficiencies in the service market, Anymaster enables clients to find skilled professionals such as plumbers, electricians, and handymen while providing tools for service providers to streamline operations. These tools include automated payment processing, scheduling, and invoicing, allowing professionals to focus on delivering work without administrative burdens.

The expansion to Athens marks a significant milestone for the company, which already operates in four major cities in Cyprus. Diana Verkhoturova, Founder of Anymaster, expressed her enthusiasm for the move: “We are thrilled to bring Anymaster to Athens and expand our footprint in the Greek market. Our platform will deliver significant benefits for both clients and service professionals. With our exceptional team, top-tier investors, and strong local partnerships, we are ready to redefine Greece’s service industry.

The €350,000 funding round was led by Oxean, a Cyprus-based boutique investment firm. Notable investors included Lamda Development, known for its Ellinikon project—the largest residential development in Europe—as well as angel investors from the Theti Club. The latter being a notable Greek tech investors club, focused on supporting high-tech startups in sectors such as fintech, AI, Cleantech, Space & Aviation, and deep tech.

According to Anymaster, a key differentiator is their strategic partnerships with major DIY and home maintenance retailers. In Cyprus, the company collaborates with leading chains such as Superhome, Mangas, and Bricolage, providing customised software to handle after-sales services like bulky deliveries, assemblies, and installations. This approach has reportedly reduced delivery and assembly times from 7–10 days to just one day.

As the company enters the Greek market, similar partnerships with local retailers are planned.
