Monster League Studios, the Barcelona-based Web3 gaming company behind Mokens League, has raised over €3.7 million to support the development of Mokens League’s gaming ecosystem, including in-game purchases, player rewards, and the use of its $MOKA utility token.
With over 50,000 active monthly users, Monster League Studios aims to create an interconnected gaming experience where players can carry assets across multiple game titles. The platform’s current offerings include a flagship soccer game, with plans to add titles like padel, tennis, and racing, broadening the scope of $MOKA’s functionality.
This year, Monster League Studios was also incubated by Google, participating in a program for emerging titles in casual gaming. Working closely with Google, the company enhanced its game metrics, positioning it competitively in the industry.
“From our growing user base to Google, people are responding to Monster League Studios and its mission to build a new type of interconnected Web3 gaming,” said Martin Repetto, CEO of Monster League Studios.
Founded by gaming industry veterans Martin Repetto and Maximo Radice, Monster League Studios aims to bring a multi-game Web3 ecosystem with a “Nintendo-like” approach, where games coexist within the Mokens League universe. The platform supports a “win-to-earn” model, prioritizing skill-based gameplay over passive rewards.
In addition to soccer, Mokens League is set to include other sports games such as basketball, hockey, and beach volleyball, allowing players to use characters and assets across different game titles, adding value to in-game items, NFTs, and the $MOKA token.
