My Digital Buildings, a company specializing in creating and utilizing spatial building data (including 3D point clouds, 2D plans, BIM models, and virtual tours), announced it has successfully raised €2 million in its first round of financing. This funding round includes the participation of Grenoble Angels, three business angel associations from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Paris Business Angels, BADGE, Rhône Dauphiné Développement, Daylight Investissement, along with Mr. Laurent FIARD and Mr. Guillaume ANELLI.
The Seed funding consists of €1.2 million in equity, complemented by €800,000 in bank leverage provided by BPI France, CIC, and BP AURA.
With this initial round of funding, My Digital Buildings is poised to become a global leader in creating, updating, and exploiting spatial building data, notably through the international expansion of its business, with opening a first subsidiary in Spain at the end of 2024. Also, with the development of a software platform to digitize its core business and customer relations. This platform will accelerate the exploitation of spatial building data.
Émeric MOUROT, CEO of My Digital Buildings, commented: “The building world is undergoing a digital revolution, and we are confident in the market’s potential and our ability to play a pivotal role in this transformation. It became necessary to accelerate and open up the company to another dimension. I’d like to thank our Business Angels and financial partners for their support. At My Digital Buildings, trust is a core value, and we are proud to have earned theirs!”
With an average annual growth of 80% since its founding in 2019, the Grenoble-based company has reached sales of €2 million in revenue by 2023. The launch of 7 new branches in France in 2022 underscores the company’s positive momentum and solidifies its positioning in the national market. This successful track record in France sets the stage for the company’s planned international expansion.
Philippe RASE, CEO of Grenoble Angels, added: “We’re particularly delighted to be supporting My Digital Buildings, a company that is showcasing Grenoble’s technological expertise and pioneering spirit on a national scale with its innovative solutions for accelerating the creation and exploitation of spatial building data for its customers. We’re also pleased to have partnered with other associations from the France Angels federation, such as BADGE, PBA and three Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes groups, as well as RDD. Together, we are stronger and better positioned to support My Digital Buildings in its future growth!”
