Innovation meets opportunity in Warsaw: The Deep Tech CEE Summit returns for its 3rd edition (Sponsored)

This October, Warsaw will become the center of European deep tech as the city hosts the 3rd edition of the Deep Tech CEE Summit from October 28-30, 2024. This event brings together innovative startups, investors, and industry leaders from across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), culminating in the Deep Tech CEE Challenge—a competition offering a prize pool of up to €1 million.

A Hub for innovation and collaboration

The Deep Tech CEE Summit has grown into a key event for startups looking to gain visibility and funding in the deep tech sector. More than 100 companies, corporations, and investors from across Europe will participate in the event, providing a platform for startups to present their cutting-edge solutions to an influential audience.

Sławomir Olejnik, CEO of Deep Tech CEE, expressed enthusiasm for the growing interest in the event, saying: “We expect 350 applications from 15 countries in the CEE region. The number and value of prizes are increasing, and participants can benefit from tickets to other international events, opportunities in accelerator programs, and many other perks.”

The summit offers startups not only the chance to secure funding but also to network with industry leaders, investors, and potential collaborators from across the region. It is a major event for anyone involved in the deep tech ecosystem.

The Deep Tech CEE Challenge Competition

At the heart of the summit is the Deep Tech CEE Challenge, a startup competition offering a prize pool of up to €1 million. This competition provides a significant opportunity for startups to secure investment from business angels and other private investors. The competition also offers other prizes, including tickets to major deep tech events, funds for flights and accommodation and entry into acceleration programs.

Startups participating in the competition gain much more than just the chance to win funding. 75 selected projects will receive free startup tickets to the Deep Tech CEE Summit and access to Investor Day (October 28th), where they can present their innovations to investors. This exposure often leads to long-term relationships with investors and opportunities to participate in other prestigious global events.
