And just like that, the EU-Startups Summit has wrapped up for another year! We really enjoyed sharing two days of networking, inspiration and learning with all of you and can’t wait to do it all again next year!
Around 2,000 attendees came together to connect in Malta. We had some incredibly insightful talks on our workshop stage, inspiring keynotes on the main stage, and our electrifying Pitch Competition! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us in sunny Malta!
This year, we were amazed to receive almost 1,500 applications from inspiring startups. After a thorough evaluation process, we selected 15 finalists. These startups will come together in Malta to compete for the chance to win a remarkable prize package valued at €390k and claim the title of Pitch Competition Champion!
The Prize Package
This year’s prize package was incredible! With a total value of over €390k, it included everything on a startup’s wishlist to kickstart a skyrocketing future:
- €250k Funding Opportunity with Look AI Ventures: The finalist will get fast-tracked and invited to pitch directly in front of Look AI Ventures‘ investment committee, and after the due diligence process, there will be a funding opportunity of up to €250k
- $100k in Google Cloud credits, a Google Workspace discount for a year, startup success manager and dedicated customer engineering right from the get go, as well as technical and networking support
- €15k worth of PR/Media coverage through the network of IMMEDIATE Accelerator

The Jury
The selected teams will receive valuable feedback from a jury of well-known venture capital investors. This year’s judging panel includes Pekka Mäki (3TS Capital), Isabella Yamamoto (), Jacopo Drudi (United Ventures) and Angelo Burgarello (Look AI Ventures).
Pitching on the main stage
The 15 finalists represented different verticals from across Europe’s startup ecosystem – from fintech to healthtech to greentech and everything in between. The finalists who joined us on the main stage were: Aino, Aisthesis Medical, AxonJay, Bakksy, Cellstack, Good With, Litech, Nora AI, resourcly, Sendance, SkoneLabs, Soource, tulanā, Vivid Mind, and Voovo.
During the pitches, it’s fair to say we were all on the edge of our seats and with such hot competition our expert jury had a hard time choosing the winning startup – it wasn’t just the Maltese sun heating things up at this year’s Summit!
And the winner is..!
Taking the prestigious title of Pitch Competition Champion, this year’s winner is Resourcly!
