Been affected by tech layoffs? Take part in our special EU-Startups Summit ticket raffle for job seekers!

Are you ready for two days of networking, inspiration and learning? On April 20-21, we’ll be hosting this year’s edition of the EU-Startups Summit! At the event in beautiful Barcelona we’ll be showcasing many of Europe’s hottest startups and coming together to learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs of our time.

This year, we want to extend a very special ticket raffle for startup and tech workers who have been affected by recent disruptions in the tech ecosystem. It’ll give 10 of you the chance to join this year’s EU-Startups Summit with a complimentary ticket and maybe even get inspired to embark on a new entrepreneurial adventure. If you have recently been laid off, you can now apply here to enter our very special ticket raffle for job seekers!

Tech companies have laid off more than 100k employees in the 12 months. A lot has changed in recent years and the layoffs have been a reflection of turbulent times. A combination of high inflation, slow economic growth, high-interest rates and the constant fear of a possible recession has left the tech ecosystem in a rocky moment. Not only startups have been affected, also European scale-ups like Paddle, Spotify and Klarna, and even tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon.

But the tech community is strong and we believe that we all have a part to play to move things forward, lifting one another up and strengthening Europe’s startup and tech ecosystem. Together, we can make a positive impact!

In light of this, we’ve decided to give away 10 tickets to startup enthusiasts who have recently been laid off, so they can have the chance to find new opportunities and connections!

This year’s EU-Startups Summit 2023 will gather over 2,000 founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, and media from across Europe in the booming startup hub of Barcelona. The event is a fantastic opportunity for networking, with a dedicated networking app, and a meeting point for aspiring entrepreneurs and investors who are aiming to build international tech companies.

We’ll have fireside chats with internationally successful founders, insightful keynotes, and an exciting pitch competition on our main stage with some of Europe’s most promising startup teams – selected from over 1300 applicants. For those who have been impacted by recent layoffs, it is the perfect place to get inspired and make the next steps in your professional journey.

If you have recently been laid off and you’d like to win one of the 10 free tickets, apply here until March 28!
