Milan-based Aryel raises €3.7 million to empower a new era of AR-based content

SaaS startup Aryel has secured €3.7 million to help fuel a new era of content: Augmented Reality. Based in Milan, the team now plan to bring its no-code solution to more markets.

Launched in 2020, Aryel aims to empower marketing teams and creatives to leverage a new era of content that is swiftly growing: Augmented Reality. The Italian startup just secured new funding and is now planning to expand.

  • €3 million was raised in a post-seed round, bringing the total funding to €3.7 million
  • The funding was led by PranaVentures
  • Business angels including Alessio Beverina (Founder of Panakès Partners), Andrea Lovato (Managing Partner at F&P4BIZ), Enrico Cerea and Rossella Cerea (from Da Vittorio, Michelin 3-star restaurant), Fabio Lalli (Partner of IQUII), Gianluca Maestroni (CEO of DeltaOhm), Lorenzo Del Bianco (Founder & CEO of DUDE), Massimo Pagnetti (Group HR Director of H-FARM), Vittorio Dionisi (CEO of HelloVacanze) also participated alongside Logotel SpA, the investment holding companies Selected Investments SpA and KF-Invest.

Based in Milan, Aryel’s no-code SaaS platform enables teams to easily create and share AR-baed content via a drag-and-drop tool. It can be published through a single customer URL, metrics can be measured and tracked, and, the campaign can be integrated with different marketing tools.

The startup reported a pretty successful 2022, counting growth of over 300% YoY and a base of over 50 thousand users, 70% of which comes from international markets such as Asia, Canada and Northern Europe. Current clients include Alpitour, Cisco, Conad, Ferrero, Kornit Digital, McCann, Plenitude, VMLY&R.

The platform offers a range of 3D assets and customizable templates, so, users can bring their content creations to life.

With this new investment, the Italian innovators plan to open new offices in reference markets, such as the UK, as well as to enhance product development by adding new features like an AI layer.
